Excellence in teaching: a review of professional standards for teachers in the Pacific SIDS

This desk review examines teacher professional standards in 14 countries in the Pacific region. Identifying how excellence in teaching is measured and what are the challenges and opportunities for implementing teacher standards and other systems of recognition will help improve teacher 
performance.
