11th International Policy Dialogue Forum - Concept Note

Teacher quality is a key factor affecting student outcomes, and therefore, has always been central to the world education community’s initiatives geared towards initial teacher education and continuous professional development. This year, the forum to be held in Jamaica will focus on yet another central concept in the SDG Teacher Target, the training of teachers: “Strengthening Teacher Education: A Prerequisite for Quality Teaching, Training and Learning.”
