Who wants to be a teacher? Findings from a survey of undergraduates in England

This study analyses the results of a survey of undergraduates from a variety disciplines in England that explores whether respondants have considered teaching as a career and which factors attract them to or deter them from teaching. This work is particularly relevant to policies aiming to increase teacher supply, since it throws light into barriers and facilitators from the perspective of the group who might have become teachers but decided against.
