Certification standards for ICT teacher training initiatives, based on the Rwanda ICT Essentials for Teachers

It is important that the existing ICT teacher training efforts in Rwanda align with the competencies listed in the Rwanda ICT Essentials for Teachers. Following a mapping exercise that aligned the competencies of existing ICT teacher training efforts in the country against those in the Rwanda ICT Essentials for Teachers, the certification standards were developed to ensure trainings contribute to the competencies listed in the Rwanda ICT Essentials for Teachers.
